In Childbirth is Your Personal Power
In childbirth we meet with the driving forces that control every person – the need to avoid pain and the need to gain pleasure.
Look childbirth closely. We are ready to undergo the pain, because we want to see our baby alive and healthy. The joy of having a baby is so strong that pain is diminished. Yet so many women when going into labor are fear-stricken and pain gets unbearable. Then they resort to all the manipulations of the modern medicine to make them free from the pain. As a result the pain increases and they say, if the doctors were not helping, probably the pain would have been much harder and completely unbearable, but this is not the case.
Their first fear made the pain worse and the time for recovery longer.
Yet, there is a solution. We all are human and fear is haunting each human heart. By recognizing and admitting your own fears, you begin to move beyond them. When you are clear and honest about what you need to work on, you can make a real progress.
Finding a fear, you also find an opportunity. You can listen to its message and learn what is holding you back. Then you can create a realistic plan for success. You can talk to the part within which sends the warning. For in each fear is the promise of real strength.
Listen closely to your fears. By understanding them, you will find a way to move beyond them.
Have the courage to look clearly at your pain and fears. In each of them you will find the potential to create powerful, effective new strength. This is how childbirth becomes empowering.
