Choose Your Childbirth
In childbirth as in life, think before you do. If you automatically react to what happens to you at the moment of childbirth, you might not be able to make the best choices.
Pressured in a hospital setting to accept interventions, when you are not well informed and there is not time for explanations, questions and answers, you might feel robbed later.
When you prepare for childbirth is the best time to think what you are about to do, and think about the consequences. Do not live by blind habit. Remember that when you choose an action, you choose all the things resulting from it.
When you choose to eat two chocolates, you are choosing to put fat on your body which will not help your baby grow in a healthy way, not will it help you to have an easy childbirth.
When you choose not to get ready for childbirth, you are choosing to sabotage your own experience of childbirth.
When you choose to read books, watch childbirth videos, attend pregnancy courses, learn from the experience of other mothers, you are choosing to have the best childbirth for you and to enjoy the rewards.
Get ready for childbirth based on your own best intentions. Each action you take has very real consequences, and you are in a position to select the exact consequences that you wish to bring about.
It only takes a moment to think before you act. Do it every time, and you will have a wonderful childbirth as you choose.
