I Want to See the World

I cry to take me up
I want to see the world
It's tedious to lie
even in your lap.

I hear my sister.
I want to see her.
The wonderful play I want to join.

Wait a bit!
I will jump as high as you.
I will run as fast as you.
I will hold the doll with you
And make a new toy house.

I love to see you
and hate to lose the sight of mom.

What a dilemma!
To lie in her lap or
stare at your cap!
