Even in Childbirth
You Need a Break

When the urge to push starts do not be afraid to ask for a break. In my second childbirth, just in the delivery when the baby head was crowning I said “I need a rest!". And I had it. It was a moment of wonderful peace and reassurance that my body, my mind and my baby were working in perfect harmony. In the next two pushes, the baby was out and we enjoyed thoroughly the whole process.

Just when you are too busy giving birth, taking a break may do the most good. Tune in to your needs and satisfy them. You are important. Sometimes you reach a point at which the fastest way to go forward is to slow down a bit.

When you rush through childbirth not pausing to catch your breath, you might do mistakes. Consider taking a break. Clear your mind and energize your body. The delivery will be there even if you take a break; by getting away from it for a while you'll still be in a much better position to handle it effectively.

Do not be in a hurry in childbirth, focus on your feelings and needs and go with the flow of the process steadily and peacefully.

Instead of worrying about running out of time, completely let go of the worry and make calm, deliberate use of the time.

Do not attempt to go too far too fast. Move at a pace that enables you to be your best. When you feel well you will move ahead most quickly.
