Effortless Childbirth

Childbirth is effortless in itself. When you feel how easily and gracefully you make progress through childbirth, your soul and heart are convinced in the brightness of future.

Even now when you think of childbirth, you can make a scan of all your emotions, attitudes and thoughts emerging with regard to your new baby. When you are thinking of childbirth you are communicating with the most authentic part of yourself, you touch your deepest desires and their response can make birth feel almost effortless.

Surely, there might be effort involved, and indeed it may be challenging, but when you feel secure and welcome your baby, effort is applied in a direction that is in harmony with who you are. Then childbirth will not feel like effort at all.

Childbirth will feel like labor of love. It will feel like fulfillment, because that is exactly what it is.

If your efforts feel painful, if you struggle against them and resent them and try to avoid them, something is wrong. Not that childbirth is wrong. Something in your attitude is wrong. Look closely and carefully at your thoughts and emotions about birth and your new life. Make sure your thoughts and actions from moment to moment are in harmony with what you value most.

Even the most difficult and challenging birth, even the most demanding labor will bring real joy if you are welcoming your new baby. When every action in childbirth is serving a purpose that is greater than you, every step and little progress is appreciated.

Choose your thoughts and be fresh and joyful when you think of giving birth. Then the efforts will be effortless and you will be moving towards your greatest treasure.
