Today to see a woman giving birth is rare. Giving Birth is a special experience for any woman, it was once shared and honoured as sacred. However, the magic of birth in the industrialized knowledge economy seems to be diminished. The baby on the other hand makes the transition into the world very smoothly. The baby is welcomed and can feel the soothing known heart beat of its mother, the warmth of her body and the consoling voice it is used to.
Watching a woman giving birth can give reassurance to mothers-to-be and medical practitioners that home birth is best and a preferred option for a healthy mother and baby.
