Childbirth Songs

Childbirth songs are a great way to reduce tension in childbirth. Songs that were sung to you when you were a baby/small child, the nurseery rhymes, thesongs that moms sing themselves to their babies are memorable and almost instintive. Your mind does not need to think. You are communicating from your heart with the baby and your subconscious. What you do with childbirth songs is you trigger the conditioning that you have since you were a baby to calm down, to relax, to know that you are safe and everything is ok.

Singing is much more automatic than trying to repeat individual words. So it can help you tremendously.

Labor Pain Relief: Music & Sound -- powered by eHow.com

Music, songs and sounds can profoundly change your mental state. During my pregnancy and childbirth. I have used music a lot. Music of nature, waterfall, rain, forest, ocean has helped me to relax so much that I was able to perceive my body as energy for the first time. This is going deep and feeling a reality underneath the gross matter that happens in the depth of relaxation. This is something that helps you so much and can completely change your experience in any situation.

You might have heard the tip to create a birthing collection of recordings. You can create your own sequence of music, sounds, affirmations, meditations, and visualizations which can lead you through the stages of childbirth.

You can also try to find the music that makes you feel good and sing it. This is a great way to be in a state of mind which will make your experience of childbirth one you would love to remember.
