
When calculating a due date, remember that 40 weeks is merely an average length of gestation and that babies are born healthy and strong from as early as 34 weeks and as late as 46 weeks (give or take a few weeks).
We offer this calculator as an estimate only.
We advise adding about 2 weeks to your due date when informing others who aren't invited to the actual birth. It cuts down on the "Haven't you had that baby YET?" calls during the final, stressful days of pregnancy. Just a thought... ;)
