You may want to follow the guidance of a trained person first. She can teach you how to do self-hypnosis. Or, you can memorize the induction process and give yourself auto-suggestion. Another option is to put the entire induction procedure on an audiotape. Here I will show you how to do the auto hypnosis child birth induction procedure. Find a quiet place, where you will not be disturbed. Sit in a chair or lie on the bed or floor on a mat. Close your eyes and relax your whole body. Tell yourself several times to become more and more relaxed. Relax deeper and deeper each of your muscle and your whole body. Tell yourself that you will be totally awake and alert and that you will concentrate on your auto-suggestion. When deeply relaxed all over, tell yourself that you are ready for a pleasant effective hypnotic state which will help you to help yourself. When very relaxed, say to yourself or listen to the file with hypnosis child birth instructions you have. Usually, relaxation instructions are enough for you to be ready. When you feel very comfortable and relaxed, imagine that you are in a pleasant place you feel safe, protected, loved, peaceful and happy. Enjoy this state as long as you like. Here you can follow your script or instructions for hypnosis child birth. Here is an example of hypnosis child birth instructions:
To increase the relaxation I will count from one to ten and get more and more relaxed as I count towards 10. At the count of 10 I will be completely relaxed, I will feel comfortably, calm and happy. I will be alert and aware ready for auto suggestion. One, I relax my forearms, hands and fingers. Think of the right hand, fingers and forearm, tell those parts to be relaxed and heavy. Let all tension and stress leave them. Think of the left hand, fingers and forearm. Relax deeper and deeper. Two, I let calmness to spread into my upper arm into the biceps and triceps. I feel very relaxed. I feel good. Three, my shoulders and neck are relaxing deeper and deeper. Four, the top of my head, scalp and forehead are relaxing. I feel coolness and freshness in my forehead.
Six, my chest, lungs and upper back are free of any tension and tightness. They are comfortably relaxed, calm and light. Seven, my stomach relaxes. The lower back and spine are totally relaxed. Eight, the muscles in my upper legs relax deeper and deeper. Nine, my lower legs, feet and toes are relaxed. Ten, I am completely relaxed all over. All the tension from my body goes away, leaving my body loose and comfortable. My whole body is calm and feels wonderful. Be quiet for a minute. At this moment record a 3-minute self-instruction or be quiet for 3 minutes, during which over a period of time you can give yourself different instructions. Then you can record the end of the recording which is something like this: Now, I am ready to end the session. I will count from one to five and become more and more alert as I count.

Childbirth ResourcesThe classic book on home birth is now available in a new edition, with updated information on the safety of natural childbirth, new birthing stories, and the most recent statistics on births managed by The Farm Midwives. Included are stories of working with Amish women, shedding light on a different culture with a similar appreciation for natural childbirth. Ina May also provides new information about potentially dangerous techniques routinely used in hospitals during and after birth, as well as the latest findings about VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean). Improved instructions for handling breech births are also given. When the first edition of Spiritual Midwifery was published in 1976, it introduced an entire generation of young women to the possibility of home birth and breast feeding. It also breathed new life into the all-but-vanished field of midwifery. Click here to view this product!ShopShare this SiteSearch the SiteSuggestionsYour Donations Keep aChildbirth.com running!
