As easily as you can choose to be resentful, you can choose to be peaceful, patient and calm. Instead of putting your energy into being fearful, you can put it into surrender and trust in the abilities of your body.

Would you like to make yourself into a victim, or would you prefer to be firmly in control of your birth? Peaceful patience, tolerance and acceptance will keep you in control.

If there is a need to change something, take action to make that change happen. Don't be resentful and annoyed. During pregnancy or the time of labor if you encounter a situation that annoys you, stop and remember that you have another choice. Choose to control your attitude and know that you are responsible.
