Online Child Birth VideoHave you thought that throughout life, there is one person you have no choice but to trust - yourself? You must trust yourself in order to live, to conceptualize the world, to make sense of daily situations. When you talk to yourself about childbirth, what do you say? What do you think says the woman in the online child birth video? Do you say that childbirth is amazing, joyful, safe, or do you say that it is dangerous, painful and unavoidable? What is the point of saying something you would not like to experience to yourself? It accomplishes nothing but to convince you of your weakness. When you catch yourself doing this, just change the direction. Say the opposite, the best possible alternative. Say to yourself "I welcome my birth! I love it! Baby come! I know it is going to be exhilarating, joyful and empowering experience!" Whatever you say to yourself, you will believe. Whatever you believe, you experience in reality. This is the mystery of self-fulfilling prophesy. Use it for your benefit!
Watch your emotions; they are your advisor because you trust them. Make sure you give yourself the best support, advice and encouragement. No caregiver can give you that, especially when it comes to childbirth.

Childbirth ResourcesThe classic book on home birth is now available in a new edition, with updated information on the safety of natural childbirth, new birthing stories, and the most recent statistics on births managed by The Farm Midwives. Included are stories of working with Amish women, shedding light on a different culture with a similar appreciation for natural childbirth. Ina May also provides new information about potentially dangerous techniques routinely used in hospitals during and after birth, as well as the latest findings about VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean). Improved instructions for handling breech births are also given. When the first edition of Spiritual Midwifery was published in 1976, it introduced an entire generation of young women to the possibility of home birth and breast feeding. It also breathed new life into the all-but-vanished field of midwifery. Click here to view this product!ShopShare this SiteSearch the SiteSuggestionsYour Donations Keep aChildbirth.com running!
