Here are some of the comments about the unassisted childbirth video graphic:
"What 'qualifies' a person to 'deliver' a baby? The person that got pregnant, took care of themselves for 9+ months, and wanted the best start for their child. All a doctor does is catch the baby, they don't deliver anything, the mother does." - LillyIvy
"WOW! I've never seen a baby not turn his shoulders! Even more amazing when the fluid popped out his mouth, THAT is what the perineum is supposed to do!! I can't imagine what they'd have done if you were in a hospital... I can almost guarantee you would have had an episiotomy. Or at least had the doctor pushing against you to get the baby out faster. GOOD JOB MOMMA!"
"good job momma!! I wish i would have had my daughter naturally, but my doc told me she was to big (9lbs), so now i have to have a C section... i wish i would have tried a natural birth.
I see small people that have had big babies naturally all the time. Now i will never know, once you have a C sec you have to have all your kids that way."
The truth is that even after a C-section you can have a beautiful unassisted childbirth. One of my best friends Maya had a wonderful unassisted home birth with her husband. She made every possible preparation. She went to prenatal yoga classes, seminars and talked with people who had unassisted birth. She was really ready in her mind, so when the time came she did it perfectly.
